Happy New Year everyone! A brand new decade has started and with the start of any month, the Playstation Plus monthly games have been released. We are able to get our hands on both Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator. So you could say we’ve got a very diverse bunch of games for the start of 2020. First up, let’s talk about Uncharted.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
The Nathan Drake Collection comes with not one game but three games, each with a thrilling singleplayer campaign. These are Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Within each of these campaigns, you will be playing as one of gaming’s most well-known characters—Nathan Drake.
The Uncharted games offer players a one-of-a-kind experience where you can expect to be embraced by a whole host of exciting action-adventure gameplay with imaginative set pieces; sure to amp up your adrenaline levels through the roof. Not only is the gameplay exhilarating but the stories are captivating too, Nathan Drake’s enemies and companions all add to these stories with their extremely well-written dialogue.
The collection itself has “enhanced graphics and gameplay” for the PS4 version among other improvements. If you are looking for games that will last you a while and are memorable, then this collection is for you.
The second game up for grabs is Goat Simulator. This one is wacky, but at the same time, hilarious. You will be namely playing as a goat, but not just any goat; a goat that can wall run, survive any fall and appears to have super-goat strength. There isn’t too much in terms of story but there are a few quests to undertake if you want to. Most of your time will be spent terrorising the local neighborhoods and cities as you cause chaos throughout the area. From (somehow) blowing up cars, headbutting everything and licking random objects in the goats’ vicinity; there is a lot of fun to be had.
If you like to aim for platinum trophies like myself then this one has a fairly easy platinum to obtain. The trophies themselves are all very varied and most of them have an interesting requirement for you to fulfill. All around, you are going to be in for a good time.
There we have it, another lineup. Technically this month we are not getting just two games but four games so we can expect to be playing through the Uncharted collection for a while. Feel free to let me know in the comments what you would’ve liked to have seen this month.
Thank you very much for reading and as always, have a lovely day!
